Requesting mitigation, refund or waiver of demurrage and detention charges

If you believe a demurrage or detention invoice from Halcyon Line is wrong, send a request to dd-disputes@halcyonline.example or call +1 562-555-0148.

Timeframes

Send your request within 30 calendar days of the invoice date. Halcyon Line resolves each request within 30 calendar days of receiving it, or later if both parties agree.

What to include

• The invoice number, bill of lading number and container number.
• What you believe is wrong, and the amount you dispute.
• Records that support it: terminal availability records, gate and equipment interchange receipts (EIRs), appointment records, and your service contract or tariff reference.
